As a young girl, Mie (Me-A) was fascinated by her mother’s chosen profession as owner and operator of a beauty salon located near their family home in Hokkaido, Japan. In May of 2023, in loving memory of her mother and in fulfillment of a longtime aspiration, Mie opened Sakura Serenity Spa, on the other side of the Pacific Ocean in beautiful Encinitas. She currently offers Permanent Makeup, Eyelash Extensions, Custom Facials and Custom Back Treatments. As a licensed cosmetologist and permanent makeup artist, Mie is passionate about the beauty enhancement services provided at Sakura Serenity Spa. She continually strives to improve her knowledge, skills and techniques, and is meticulous in the performance of her craft. Mie would be honored to bring more beauty and tranquility into your life.
